Work runs in four steps. An upright brush-action vacuum takes the loose soil first. An encapsulation solution is pre-sprayed. A counter-rotating brush machine agitates the fibre. Ongoing vacuuming then lifts the crystallised soil.
The method suits venues that trade late or around the clock. Drying time is 30 to 90 minutes depending on how soiled the carpet is. Attendance is booked after close or overnight, around trading hours.
Hot water extraction (steam) stays a restoration tool: heavily soiled carpet, and spills, carried out by trained staff.
