A burn or a ripple is not a replacement.
Commercial carpet repairs. Modular tile from attic stock, broadloom patches, re-stretch, re-seam, discontinued or close-match sourcing when the range is gone. Repair the damage. Replace only the area that needs it.
Save the floor you already have.
A single burn, a lifting seam or a rippling traffic lane is often what starts a replacement conversation. Repair first. Replace the area that actually needs it. Send a photo and a rough size and we will scope the job.
Tile, broadloom, stretch or seam — whichever the carpet needs.
Modular carpet tile is designed for surgical repair: a damaged tile comes out, a matching tile from attic stock goes in, and the join disappears. Broadloom is different. Patches are more visible; we say so before we start. Ripples are pulled tight against the tack strip. Opened seams are re-seamed.
Where attic stock is gone we source discontinued or close-match tile where we can. For heritage carpets we advise on repair versus replacing the affected area. We look at the carpet and choose. We do not run one repair method over every floor.
Common questions
Can carpet tile be patched invisibly?
Modular tile is designed for this: a damaged tile is swapped for a matching one from attic stock, and the join disappears. Broadloom patches are more visible; we set expectations before we start.
What is re-stretching?
Broadloom relaxes over years and ripples. Re-stretching pulls the carpet back tight against the tack strip, removing waves and the trip hazard they create.
Should we hold attic stock?
A small quantity of matching carpet held on site or with us solves most repair situations.
What if the range is discontinued?
We can source discontinued or close-match tile where possible. For heritage carpets we advise on repair versus replacing the affected area.
