What a training session actually covers.
The session varies by site. The core is straightforward:
- The right chemistry for the carpets that are actually installed, scoped through a quick audit.
- The wrong chemistry: products used in general cleaning that damage commercial carpet.
- Spot cleaning technique, including blot versus rub, and why rubbing drives a stain deeper.
- Vacuum patterns and frequency for high-traffic zones versus private rooms.
- Daily and weekly maintenance checklists.

The professional visit is the same commercial method as commercial carpet cleaning. Low-moisture encapsulation is the default. Nine times out of 10, commercial carpets can be maintained that way. Polymers surround and bind soil, crystallise as they dry, and vacuum out. No lake of water in the backing.
Encapsulation is usually dry in 45-90 minutes and can be walked on almost immediately, live or overnight. That matters in an occupied facility. Steam stays the restoration tool: heavily soiled carpet, an annual restoration, spills or builders' mess, done by trained staff. Steam typically leaves carpets wet for 24 hours or more.
