Comcork is cork and rubber, so we clean it differently.

About 70% natural cork and 30% rubber by volume, made in Victoria. Offices, education, healthcare. Premrest supplies and installs it in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane, and looks after it once it is down.

A cork-composite floor in a commercial interior.

Comcork is Australian-made in Victoria. It is used for acoustics, a tactile surface underfoot, and slip resistance. It is softer and more chemistry-sensitive than vinyl. Aggressive detergents strip the sealer. Too much water swells the substrate. The wrong pad marks the surface.

Maintain the sealer. Strip and re-seal when it has failed.

Chemistry and moisture are matched to cork-composite, not borrowed from a vinyl job. Where the sealer is intact, gentle maintenance holds it. Where it has failed, we can strip and re-seal rather than replace the floor. The product is meant to be sealed on a cycle; we look at the floor and decide which visit this is.
